From Palenque - the original is an incense burner with the head of a Mayan woman. This interpretation incorporates a pelican headdress from another piece. In 3 parts made of porcelain paper clay with mason stains and a clear glaze - cone 6. About 40" H.

Hawknosed wall planter - not totally Mayan but it fits the space. Paper porcelain clay with clear glaze fired to cone 5. It guards the door of a neighbor's home.
